OPPORTUNITY INFORMATION
Description
A committed and self-driven candidate is sought to join our training section in delivering high-quality learning programmes to learners and trainees pursuing qualifications and careers within the water sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments in line with SETA and QCTO requirements to ensure that all learners meet the prescribed occupational standards.
Minimum requirements
- Grade 12
- National diploma/degree in any of the water & wastewater or environmental disciplines are desirable
- At least 2 years verifiable experience of work as training facilitator or valid training facilitation certificate
- At least 2 years verifiable experience of work as an assessor registered with EWSETA
- LGSETA accreditation as assessor or moderator will serve as an advantage
- Demonstrable understanding of the South African training regulatory landscape comprising NQF; QCTO; SETA; SAQA etc.
- Ability to work effectively from the office with occasional travel to training sites when required
- Driver’s license will be an advantage

- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with learners and stakeholders.
- Ability to identify gaps and deficiencies in learner performance, assessment tools, and assessment processes.
- Ability to compile, analyse, and present assessment reports to internal and external stakeholders.

OPPORTUNITY INFORMATION
Description
Committed and self-driven candidates are sought to join our training section in the delivery of various training products to learners and/or trainees seeking a qualification and/or career in the water sector. Candidates shall be subject matter specialists well-versed in different forms of training delivery including by means of online remote platforms.
Minimum requirements
- Grade 12
- National diploma/degree in any of the water & wastewater or environmental disciplines is desirable
- At least 2 years verifiable experience of work as training facilitator or valid training facilitation certificate
- EWSETA & LGSETA accreditation as assessor or moderator will serve as an advantage
- Demonstrable understanding of the South African training regulatory landscape comprising NQF; QCTO; SETA; SAQA etc.
- Ability to travel or willingness to settle closest to sites of training delivery
- Ability to deliver training in English and any of the predominantly spoken languages in areas around sites of training delivery
- Driver’s license will be an advantage

Description
12 months learnership programme on water process controller implemented in partnership with Thaba Chweu Local Municipality in Mpumalanga province. The opportunity is for 60 learners (18.2 unemployed) who have passion for a career or trade in the water sector and who are willing and committed to stay in the programme until attainment of a qualification. Training will take place in identified areas within Thaba Chweu Local Municipality
Minimum requirements
- Must be aged between 18 and 35 and without any criminal record
- Grade 12
- MUST be resident in areas or wards around Mashishing, Graskop and Sabie in Thaba Chweu Local Municipality.
- Willingness to enter into signed commitment to stay within the learnership till completion
Selection guidelines
- 60 percent of learners must be female
- 90 percent must come from rural communities
- To the extent possible up to 15 percent must come from minority national groups (white; coloured and Indian national groups)
