TRAINING

STI training programmes are approved by QCTO and our trainings are accredited with the Energy & Water Sector Education & Training Authority (EW SETA).

All staff members and consultants delivering our programmes are appropriately qualified and accredited. Some of them are industry experts and subject matter specialists boasting years of practical industry experience. Our facilitators; assessors and moderators as the nucleus of our delivery team are accredited with appropriate SETAs.

Our quality assurance process start at administration and logistics level at the outset of deciding on delivering a training session and goes right through every stage from facilitation in the lecture room through to assessment and moderation, and externally through regular rigorous audit and due-diligence exercises conducted independently by all our quality assurance and regulatory authorities.

We engage our learners and trainees in compulsory quality assurance exercises by way of feedback solicitation at the end of each training session. The feedback collection mechanism is two-fold with one part focusing on quality of subject matter delivery in terms of presentation and content and, the other focusing on administration and logistical arrangements and support pertaining to the specific training session. Our monitoring and evaluation unit collates the data generated from the feedback forms to generate new information and knowledge products that go on to inform our internal quality assurance & quality improvement (QA-QI) efforts.
